OshiVista Privacy Policy

The provider (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us") of OshiVista (hereinafter referred to as "the App") respects the privacy of users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") and is committed to protecting personal information. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") explains what information the App collects and how it is used and managed.

Article 1 (Definition of Personal Information)

In this Policy, "personal information" means "personal information" as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act").

The App does not, in principle, collect Users' personal information. The App does not have user registration or login features, and all data entered by Users is stored locally on the User's device.

Article 6 (Data Storage Location and Period)

6.1 Data Storage Location

User data is, in principle, stored locally on the User's device. It is not stored on our servers.

Important Notice

Since the App's data is stored locally on the device, data may be lost in the following cases:

  • Uninstalling the App
  • Device failure, loss, or theft
  • OS updates or initialization
  • Replacing the device

We do not provide backup services for User data. Users are strongly recommended to regularly backup important data on their own responsibility, such as saving screenshots or exporting data (planned for future implementation).

Article 8 (Security)

  1. We take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of collected information and for other safety management of information.
  2. However, since the App stores data on the User's device, security measures for the device are the User's responsibility.
  3. Users are recommended to implement the following security measures:
    • Setting up device passcode lock or biometric authentication
    • Updating to the latest OS version
    • Avoiding use on untrusted Wi-Fi networks
    • Enabling remote lock features in case of device loss or theft

Article 9 (User Rights)

Users have the following rights:

  1. Right of Access: Users can view their own data within the App
  2. Right to Rectification: Users can edit and correct their own data within the App
  3. Right to Erasure: Users can delete their own data within the App. Users can also delete all data on the device by uninstalling the App
  4. Right to Data Portability: We plan to provide a feature to export User data in the future
  5. Right to Withdraw: Users can stop using the App and uninstall it at any time

Article 10 (Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies)

  1. The App is a mobile application and does not use cookies used in web browsers.
  2. However, some external services such as Firebase Analytics may use similar technologies to track user behavior. These technologies are used in a format that does not identify individuals.
  3. Users can disable these tracking features through device settings. However, some features may not function properly.

Article 11 (Children's Privacy)

  1. The App is not a service intended for children under 13 years of age.
  2. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
  3. If children under 13 years of age use the App, they should use it with parental consent and supervision.
  4. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 years of age, we will promptly delete such information.

Article 12 (About Advertising)

The App does not currently display advertisements.

If we start displaying advertisements in the future, we will update this Policy and notify Users.

Article 13 (Use of Analytics Tools)

The App uses the following analytics tools to improve services:

These analytics tools collect and process data in a format that does not identify individuals.

Article 14 (Changes to Privacy Policy)

  1. We may change this Policy due to changes in laws, changes in service content, or other reasons.
  2. When changing this Policy, we will notify Users a reasonable period before the effective date of the changed Privacy Policy by displaying it in an appropriate location within the App or by other appropriate means.
  3. If there are significant changes, we will provide prominent notice within the App.
  4. The changed Privacy Policy shall become effective from the effective date.
  5. Users are deemed to have agreed to the changed Privacy Policy by continuing to use the App after the Privacy Policy has been changed.

Article 15 (Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information)

  1. Since the App stores data locally on the User's device, Users can view, edit, and delete their own data within the App at any time.
  2. If you wish to disclose, correct, or delete data sent to external services, please follow the procedures in accordance with the privacy policy of each external service.
  3. If you wish to disclose, correct, or delete analytics data held by us, please contact us at the contact information in Article 16. However, for anonymized data, we may not be able to respond as individuals cannot be identified.

Article 17 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
